Adalah Muhammad Ahsan, pebulutangkis muda kelahiran 2013 dari klub Mansion Exist Badminton Club, yang terpacu dengan capaian ganda putra kawakan andalan Indonesia tersebut.
“Awalnya karena suka lihat papah main badminton dan sering diajak juga, jadi ikutan. Saya lihat orang mainnya seru, jadi ingin main juga,” kata Ahsan saat berbincang dengan detikSport.
Faktanya, Ahsan memang tak hanya suka olahraga tersebut karena ayahnya. Tapi Ahsan sepertinya memang sudah sudah dipersiapkan orang tuanya untuk menjadi pebulutangkis dunia kelak. Tak heran namanya pun dibuat mirip dengan pebulutangkis berprestasi Mohammad Ahsan.
“Papah suka dengan Mohammad Ahsan karena prestasinya bagus, suka sama atletnya, ibadahnya (makanya diberi nama Muhammad Ahsan),” kata Ahsan menceritakan asal mula namanya tersebut.
Kini unggulan kedua nomor Tunggal Usia Dini Putra di BNI Sirnas B 2023 Sulawesi Selatan itu pun berharap tak hanya namanya saja yang sama, tapi juga prestasi ke depannya.
